a solo venture by jim of the homosexuals recorded in '79 and released in '80. no label info whatsoever. quite amazing album that swings from branch to branch in a matter of seconds; bedroom psych, sound collage, and avant noise. a treat. this is available on cd from ReR (who just reissued the first this heat album) with a bunch of great bonus tracks, including the l voag "move" ep.

someone requested the just measurers "flagellation" lp (it's war boys 19??) so i've included it here. also homosexuals related, this is jim, lepke and a gentleman named chris grey who played on some of the amos & sara recordings.

Holy shit! That was fast!
THANKS THANKS THANKS!
hey. i love this site. having said that, i just thought i'd put in a non-confrontational appeal to its owner to do 192 kpbs on the mp3s. some of this stuff is worth having and, not that i can always hear the difference, i have found you can sometimes hear at 160 or lower some noise or granulation or something on cymbals etc that you can't at 192. again - i don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth too much here. i'm just asking. keep it up. pretty interesting stuff. i liked "the way out" a lot.
Hey...you're posting some really amazing stuff. And while I do think there is a service in turning people onto things and sharing stuff that is long out of print and otherwise unavailable, sharing an entire record that is available on CD I find harder to justify. Having a record label myself, I know how hard it is to sell music...at this point we're lucky anybody bothers to remaster and reissue old recordings. I'd hope people still buy the CD, on Alcohol Records, if even to get the Move EP tracks.
how in the world do u guys download these files?!
